ORIGIN OF THE EARTH
The fossils , around 3.5 billion year old have been well
preserved by the geologists. These fossils remains help us to know about
various phases of the earth’s history. Long
ago , there was no planet called Earth. Around 4.6 billion years ago,
the whirling dust around the new born Sun began to form as a lump of rocks
known as planetesimals. These planetesimals further came together due to
gravitational force and thus the earth was formed.
