The  Sun and other heavenly bodies that orbit the Sun form the solar system.

Solar system is a part of the milky way galaxy. The Sun is the largest object in the system and consists of 95% of all solar materials while rest 5% of solar  materials are utilized by the objects orbiting the Sun.
